Friendly streets for trick-or-treating

Postby alfke » Thu Oct 26, 2017 5:26 pm

Hi,

can anyone recommend a child friendly street to go trick-or-treating around Clapham or between the Commons? There isn't much participation from neighbours in our immediate area (Balham).

Thank you,
Alfke

Balham has loads of trick or treating up by Wandsworth common. Balham park road, ouseley road, heslop and up by Bellevue road are all good! I live around here and get through tons of sweets every Halloween!

The "Toast Rack" is particularly good (Routh Road, Doricot Road, Baskerville Road etc).

That's probably because so many American ex-pats live there and go mad on Halloween...the houses are "dressed" spectacularly and no expense spared on the treats!

There’s a house on Trinity Road just south of Routh Road that is completely brilliant - worth going to the area just to see it! It’s very spooky though so not for very young children who are easily scared.
