Recommendation for a good baby/toddler photographer

Postby Nightingale4 » Wed Mar 26, 2014 10:11 pm

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of a photographer that could come to our house in SW12 to take photos of our newborn and my 20 month daughter. I'm looking for something natural. Thanks very much for your help.

I recommend Sacha de Klerk photography. She takes lovely natural photos.

She charges £300 for 35 edited images on a disk. The shoot takes 3 hours and she has some stunning accessories for the newborn part of the shoot :D

Just as a comparison, has anyone else had a photographer they'd recommend to take newborn/family photos at home? Thanks.

We've had Laura Smith come to ours twice to photograph our children and think she's fab. She's great with kids and creates really lovely natural shots. She has a Facebook page called Laura Smith Photography. From memory, her packages start at £80 for a 2 hour shoot.

Hi CathP, my friend just came over to the UK and she is a professional photographer. She is just starting and is happy to provide a session plus 15 edited images on a CD for £60. Here is her website and contact details. I know she also has accessories for the shoot like hats etc.

Also, you can find her on Facebook.

I choose DanielKomlosi Photography and that was the best decision I made. He based in Barnes, close to Richmond. Daniel is very friendly and makes brilliant photos. He done my maternity shoot in our home and pictures lookes like it was make in a professional studio :) I paid £150 for the session, pictures were ready by next day.. I can really recommend him! You can find him here http://danielkomlosi.com ;)

A friend of mine recommended Magic rainbow photography for my newborn photo shoot and I'm really glad I listened to her as the photographer was brilliant with our baby. We had the pictures taken at our home and they came out beautiful. The prices are very reasonable too.

Mel Wilde: beautifully photos of newborns (not dressed up to look like butterflies or bees, but in their wonderfully pink natural state!). Superb, relaxed and happy shots of families, bumps and weddings. www.www.melwildephotography.com
