We found it really hard to find a comprehensive list of full daycare nurseries in the borough either on directgov or the council website, so we've done our best to draw together the details below.

These nurseries are typically aimed at working parents and therefore have longer hours (usually 8am to 6pm) taking babies from 3months up to school age.

Do any mummies have feedback on Asquith? We missed the open day...

We missed it too!! But yesterday I got a flyer through the door about the next one! Saturday 9th Feb, 10 - 1pm - the theme is 'Festivals of the World'

On the flyer in bold letters it says that the nursery has undergone a '£60K amazing refurbishment' - so reckon it must be pretty good!! Well it should be for the price they charge!!

Also, what should we look for at the open day? This is our first baby so I don't know what questions to ask!

They are actually holding free Baby sessions on Fridays for Mums to go along to from 10am-11am. This might be a good way to have a look around the nursery and see if you like the environment?

It's a lovely boutique nursery - small numbers of children and great staff.

They are recently opened (October 2013) and had their first ofsted report in the last month - receiving an outstanding.

I realise this thread is a little old now, but I'd like to add Mandarin Ducklings in Marble Hill Park to the list - an absolutely fab bilingual Montessori (getting them a head start in Mandarin!) in a forest school setting. It literally ticks all the boxes! My daughter loves her time here. Staff are really caring. Full day nursery and wrap around care too.
