This term, Cygnets Travelling Art School is partnering with Cass Art in Kingston to run amazing new term time classes at their shop, commencing 7th September (for 12 weeks excluding 2 weeks for half term) and will be running on:
Mondays 4:30-5:30pm
Fridays 4:30-5:30pm
Saturdays 11am-12pm
Our classes are extremely unique in their teaching of traditional skills that children can build on each week and use beyond the class. Each lesson begins with a step-by-step drawing which is then used to form part of a larger project spanning the term. Our classes are always kept small so children will receive a lot of individual attention.
The first term will be looking at circuses, and students will get the chance to explore a whole range of amazing techniques such as drawing, painting, clay and sewing to create their own 3D circus, using references from art history throughout.
The term will then culminate with a real exhibition and private view of the students' work!
The cost is £20/ session when you book for the term, or £25/ session otherwise, with all materials included.
Please feel free to book your child in for the first week initially before signing up for the full term.
