A letting agent in Wandsworth has described London as a "war zone", after being caught up in a "high speed chase" last week.
Claudia Monticello, 46, was parking her Fiat 500 near her home on Gayville Road on Wednesday, 27 February.
As she was reversing back, she saw a car behind her driving at high speeds. The car did an emergency stop and starting horning at Claudia.
"At first I thought it was some idiot driver. When I looked out of my car, I saw a group of youths smashing the windshield of the car that had stopped behind me," she said.
"It looked like a high speed chase to me."
As the car was hit by a baseball bat, the driver rammed into Claudia's car and drove away.
She was knocked unconscious due to the force of the collision and when she came too, she saw someone walking toward her with a metal baseball bat.
The group got into another car and drove off. Claudia said that watching footage from a neighbours CCTV camera "scared the life out of her," and she was left with multiple injuries including concussion, whiplash, and bruises on her shin.
She added: "The police did not turn up until five hours later, this is despite neighbours calling multiple times.
My boyfriend called 999 twice and an ambulance turned up three hours later.
"I was waiting in A&E until 4am and was not seen to. I have had to take time off work as I am still suffering from concussion. I have not had anything from the police. "All this crime is scary, London has turned into a war zone."
Police confirmed they were called to Gayville Road at around 6.50pm last week. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
