Calling communications professionals - opportunity in SW12

We’re an SW12 based boutique communications agency specialising in the health, education and social sectors and we're on the lookout for new talent!
 Does the commute get you down and you'd like to work closer to home? Have you had a career break and want to restart your comms career? Maybe you just fancy a change?
 If you have a background as a communications account handler, we would love to talk to you.
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER: The day to day:
  • Developing campaigns and then leading and managing delivery
  • Using contacts and excellent media relations skills to achieve outstanding press coverage
  • Offering tactical consultancy and advice to clients
  • Leading client meetings and taking responsibility for contact and status reports
  • Tactical delivery, including writing press releases, statements, web, newsletter, and feature content
  • Playing a full role in pitches and presentations
  • Planning and managing client events
ACCOUNT MANAGER: The day to day:
  • Background research and fact finding
  • Playing an active role in campaign planning
  • Writing, editing copy and proof-reading media materials including press releases
  • Selling in stories to the media
  • Meeting and liaising with clients
  • Keeping the social media channels refreshed with new content
  • Updating client websites
  • Producing contact and status reports
What do both roles require?
  • You must be someone who is confident, enthusiastic and happy to get stuck in
  • Be a problem solver with the ability to juggle tasks and manage time effectively while staying calm under pressure
  • Have excellent writing skills and an ability to write quickly to deadline and adapt style for different audiences
  • Demonstrate outstanding media relations skills and in-depth knowledge of the media
