Baby friendly hotels in the UK

Postby Sam001 » Mon Jul 04, 2011 3:34 pm

Hi,

We are looking to go away with our 11 month old daughter, somewhere in the UK, preferably not more than 2 hours away from London. We usually go to Foxhills which is brilliant for kids and adults alike, however it is not available on the dates we are off.

We are looking for something that does not break the bank (not more than £200 each per night). Preferably it would be somewhere that has an indoors creche and /or soft area and a pool and a spa would be great.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,
We have been to Calcot Manor, near Tetbury in Gloucestershire a couple of times. They have exactly what you've mentioned and both my kids were more than happy to be left in the crèche whilst hubby and I chilled in the Spa!
We treated ourselves to the luxury family suites so kids had a separate room within the suite. They even have a baby listening device which you switch on when you go to supper, or you can pay for a babysitter.

Otherwise try Small Luxury Family Hotels or Baby Friendly Boltholes.
