Ill De Re or Corsica ideas?

Hi all

My husband and I were thinking of going somewhere "different" this July so was wondering if anyone has been to Ille De Re in France or Corsica? If so do you have suggestions good or bad and also ideas of where to stay etc! We have a 3.5 year old daughter so child friendly please.
