Introducing the Martinhal Beach Resort
Set beside the dazzling Martinhal beach, this fabulous new resort and boutique hotel are a wonderful addition in the Algarve. They opened in April 2010 and offer a wide range of leisure facilities and a varied choice of accommodation.
The surrounding area is distinctly unspoiled, situated as it is in the very west of the Algarve. Nearby is the small fishing port of Sagres and inland the resort is surrounded by a nature reserve. The result is a peaceful setting offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Choose between rooms in the boutique hotel and self-catering village houses with breathtaking views or luxury villas with private pools. Inside the decor is bright and stylish with careful attention to detail to add to your comfort – ranging from 32 inch flat screen TVs in the houses and villas to Bose iPod docking stations and mini bars with complimentary soft drinks in the hotel rooms.
The facilities are located across the resort and offer something for everyone – relaxing spa treatments, lots of sports, childcare facilities for children from six months old, an area for older children and teenagers (Playstations and Wiis), a gourmet food market for supplies for your villa or house and even ‘take away’ freshly prepared meals to enjoy in your house or villa.
The two or three bedroom terraced village houses have two floors with the living area on the upper floor offering views of the ocean, nature reserve or surrounding woodland. Pinewood houses each have an outdoor pool. The terraced two or three bedroom Vilas Mimosa have a small garden and views of the ocean or the Port of Baleira and they share use of the Club House with its 18m pool. Alternatively there are three or four bedroom luxury villas, each with their own private pool.
