Karen at Hedley Twist (the bright pink hairdressers half way down Webbs Road) is an fab hairdresser, and I'm always pleased with the result of the cuts and highlights she does, and so have been going to her for many years now.
It's a very relaxing experience too, with an great atmosphere, coffee and biscuits! They are not the cheapest, but you wear your hair every day!

Eleven Hair - Blenheim Street off New Bond Street. Don’t be put off by the swanky address. This team are amazing. I have a frizzy grey mess but thanks to straightening and colour you’d never know. Ive been going there and the former salon for over 10 years now. Ive ventured elsewhere a couple of times because of ‘convenience’ and always been very disappointed. Jason, the colour specialist heads a great team and oversees everything personally.

I get cut and highlights at Gina Conway in Wimbledon. I know it's not cheap but I only go about once every 3-4 months so it's a real treat. I'm not a fan of other chain hairdressers where the music is loud and played more for the young hairdressers than for the clientele!

At GC there is lovely relaxing background music, a free head and shoulder massage before they start on your hair and they don't engage in conversation if you want to quietly sit and read or just relax in silence. I've always found that the high/lowlights last well and look really natural and the cut shape suits my face shape and looks super for weeks and weeks too.
