This time last year, NappyValley put up a post all about me and my book -Collecting Conversations. I had absolutely no idea of what would happen.
Who would have guessed- I sold the 1000 copies I had printed, I was asked to do a TED talk (which was the most excruciating experience of my life), I had a 3-page feature in Good HouseKeeping and I even went on BBC Radio London to chat with Jo Good- the power of conversations.
I think one of the reasons my book has had this success, is because the women I interviewed are real women, sharing their experiences of every day life. And we can all resonate with that.
I have just reprinted, and I'm very happy to say that you can get a copy from my website, Waterstones in Clapham Junction and Clapham Books on the Pavement at Clapham Common just in time for Mother's Day.
