Explaining economics: request for help

Postby SW11 Resident » Mon May 27, 2019 8:37 am

Hello

Are there any economics grads out there who might be willing to explain some macroeconomic concepts to me in easy to understand terms?

I feel a tad embarrassed, particularly in my line of work and at my age, that I cannot quite grasp them but every time I try, I keep going around in circles. Currently, I’m not working and so with more time on my hands, I’m determined to crack this if I can!

I cannot promise much in return except perhaps a “nice cup of tea and a biscuit”, and it goes without saying a lot of gratitude if some kind soul could help to lift this mental fog for me.

Here's hoping...many thanks!

Try reading Economics: The Users Guide by Ha-Joon Chang. It is a simple book to read and takes you through the basics. Read reviews on amazon to give further background.

Totally happy to help. What kind of things are you wanting to go over?

Good morning V888, I sent A PM a few days ago...not sure if you have received it as it still seems to be in my Outbox? Thanks!
