Forest School - February Half Term Club Post Reply

A recent report found that 3/4 of children in the UK spend less time outdoors than prison inmates! This is a shocking reflection of our society today. Paradise Wild (formerly Wild Child) runs a forest school club for 8-11 year olds in SW18 with an aim to connect children with nature.

We have opened bookings for our February half term club where children will have a go at fire lighting, cooking on an open fire, whittling sticks and exploring the outdoors.

Within the classroom, children are under many constraints and are often not allowed to explore beyond the intended outcome of a lesson. At our Forest School holiday club, our leaders come with an idea for learning but if children would prefer to do something else they are given the freedom. We’ve had such incredible feedback from both children and adults. Our clubs develop a child’s resilience, imagination and independence. 

We still have spaces available for our February Half Term club.
