Northwood Senior

Just wondering how many pupils have applied for Year 9 entry in Sept 2021 for this new school. Is anyone's son or daughter heading there this September for Year 9?

I hear on the prep school grapevine that many families who were offered places at both Northwood and Thomas’s Battersea Square have opted for Thomas’s on the grounds that the facilities are far superior and they offer the possibility of ‘A’ levels /IB whereas children going to Northwood will have to move again at 16.  I believe the classes at Northwood will be small (10 -12 per class - which may be what you want, of course) and with many more boys than girls.

I think, but I’m not sure, the decision is also on whether your child needs small and close together classes / amenities/ or can handle big classes and multiple sites. Battersea has easily much better facilities but I was so impressed with the teachers and vision for Northwood
