Au pair / after school nanny Post Reply

We’re struggling to find an au pair these days does anyone have any recommendations for someone who is local or might be looking for a live in role, or just for some after school work? Children are 12 and 9 yr olds so just need a bit of help and direction rather than full on child caring.

From my experience after school care is almost impossible to find now :(
I heard that Canadian au-pairs are available and permitted to come… have you explored that route?
Other option might be a nanny-housekeeper Ie To do 2-3 full days work including cleaning?

I’m also finding it impossible! What are people with younger children who have just started school or will just be starting school doing these days, would be grateful for any tips and suggestions please. Thanks also to the poster above, is there a specific website/app for Canadian au pairs? Thanks!
