Have you been to Seville?

Postby luckymummy » Tue Nov 15, 2022 9:52 am

A few girlfriends and I are off to Seville next April and were wondering about any accommodation tips. It isn't a blow the budget holiday but somewhere fairly central and decent would be nice. Any recommendations would be really appreciated as we dont really know where to start. Thank you.

I stayed in the Hotel Amadeus and it was lovely. I got the recommendation from the Independent review:

In Seville, days are (nearly) always sunny, tapas is cheap and delicious, and the beer is ice cold. What’s more, this small historic city is bursting with fabulous places to lay your head. Whether your taste tends towards an 18th century palace, an ultra-modern skyscraper or a 1920s villa, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

The best hotels in Sevllle are:

Best for rustic chic: Hospes Las Casas del Rey de Baeza, booking.com
Best for bird’s eye views: Torre Sevilla, booking.com
Best for art lovers: One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejon, booking.com
Best for musicians: Hotel Amadeus, booking.com
Best for gardeners: Legado del Alcazar, booking.com
Best for Arabian nights: Alcoba del Rey, booking.com
Best for bar-hoppers: The Corner House, booking.com
Best for wannabe royalty: Alfonso XIII, booking.com
Best for for eco-warriors: La Parada del Marques, booking.com
Best for football fans: Holos, hotelholos.com

Love it there! We stayed at Hotel Fernando III which we found to be pretty central and had a lovely rooftop pool! Recommend the guided cycle tours (it’s nice and flat!) and we watched a Flamenco show at Teatro Flamenco in Triana which is the dance school and prices much more reasonable. Enjoy!

Amazing thank you so much Londoncinders, I was actually going to ask if anyone had been to a good Flamenco show as it is definitely on the list of things to do. I really appreciate your help. Good to know about the cycle tour, I didn't even think about that. Sounds like fun.
