Blue Lemonade ??

Postby meldoublew » Fri Jun 26, 2015 4:35 pm

Hello
I am trying to make a blue lemonade, for a "Frozen" themed summer party. It has to be without alcohol. I looked up various recipes on Pinterest but they all were referring to american products which I don't know or can't find here.
Does anybody know a recipe for a blue coloured nice tasting drink for children (without too much sugar)?
Or alternatively does anybody know the "translation" of:
Kool-Aid Ice Blue Raspberry

And do they mean Sprite when they say:
carbonated lemon-lime soda

And further does anybody know if I could use food colour (liquid) for drinks?

Sorry, all a bit confusing, first time I am doing this and not in my own "language/country"..

Thanks for any advice. :)

Maybe this helps for the first ingredient:

I am sure someone else will come up with a translation for the soda!

Hello,

If you go to any small ethnic shop, you should be able to find kool aid. It is just a sugary powder, that you mix with water. If you're lucky, your nearest large supermarket may stock it in the 'world food' aisle

Good luck!

Hi there - I imagine that you can use any clear fizzy drink and get some blue food colouring from the baking isle of any supermarket. You don't need to ad much to get the effect you want and it shouldn't change the taste.

If you're after a lemon-line taste then Sprite fits the bill.

Have a lovely party!

Buy normal lemonade and add some food colouring - much easier than trying to make other ways.
