We're looking for a friendly and reliable Au Pair to help around the house and with our two children (b20 months g3months) - five days a week - Monday to Friday, about 25 hours a week. We live in Wandsworth and need an extra pair of hands to care for our children, keep the house tidy, and to help in the kitchen and with the laundry.
General duties will include:
- Looking after & entertaining/playing with the children - includes
taking them out to the playground/playgroups, helping with their dinner, bath, & bedtime routine.
- Some laundry & general light housekeeping duties - includes
ironing, hanging out washing, (we have a cleaner)
- Help in the kitchen with cooking & cleaning - cooking simple
meals for the children, cleaning the kitchen, emptying the dishwasher
We are looking for you
to work from Monday to Friday and main hours would be for an hour in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon/early evening but we are flexible on times to suit you and us.
We'd ensure that you had plenty of free time to complete your studies if you are doing any. We'd also like two evenings of babysitting per week.
We'd like you to:
- Be caring, reliable, honest, hard-working, cheerful and easy going
- Have previous au-pair/childcare experience
- Speak good English
- Have excellent & checkable references
- Be a non-smoker
- Have basic cooking skills
- Be energetic and enjoy the outdoors
- Have 6 months availability
You would have your own bedroom and bathroom (shared with the children) at the top of the house and also in the evenings we would ensure you had our basement room with a huge TV and computer to yourself so you have some space away from the family!
