Friendly family looking for part-time after-school nanny (4 days a week) ASAP for their seven-year old son.
We are looking for someone with childcare experience, who is kind, outgoing, energetic and organised, and who genuinely loves children and enjoys engaging with them (not just supervising them) and encouraging their development and interests. A perfect role for a teaching / nursery assistant or trainee teacher looking for a second job!
Duties include: to collect from school (Thomas's Clapham) at 4pm during term times; supervise / assist with homework; take to after-school activities (e.g. swimming); prepare home-cooked supper; as well as play and chat etc! Would ideally be able to start earlier (e.g. 3.00pm) to prepare food etc.
To work Tues-Friday during term time, with opportunity to work full time (Monday - Friday) for part or all of the school holidays (8am - 6.30pm) if desired.
Excellent spoken and written English is absolutely essential, as is CRB/DBS check and knowledge of First Aid. Driver (automatic car) preferred but not essential. Familiarity with SW11 area is an advantage.
