Wee ones vs eveline. Vs magdalen day

Help - i am looking at these three nurseries for a couple of days a week and have to choose between them for my one year old.

What a tricky decision - has anyone had a good, or not so good experience at either...

Looking for somewhere that teaches good manners and has some educational basis (if that's even possible at one!)

All good nurseries. Do you actually have a place at any of them? If so - great, but the chances are you will 'choose' the one that can take you. Eveline has a 12 month wait list -they do not need to be 'chosen'!!

I am on the waiting lists for them but was thinking of taking a day first at the one I really want to go for and then adding more days later.

Do you use any of them?

My DS has been at Eveline 4 days a week for the last 14 months, there are LOs there who were moved from Wee Ones, don't know anyone at Magdalen nursery.

My daughter is at Wee Ones and we have no complaints. Not sure any nurseries offer an educational element for age one - Wee Ones children start Montessori lessons at 2.5. It's a nice fit for us.

How old is your ds. Do you know why people moved from wee ones?

We have been v.happy with Eveline, the staff turnover is low & they have chosen to be nursery nurses, many of them have done NVQs. The staff are so kind & affectionate with the children & you feel as though they really care & not just because it's their job.

Apparently Wee Ones is not a "proper" montessori, that was why our friends moved their child & I don't think they are that flexible on days.

Eveline don't do half days but do offer flexibility as to which days you have. Fridays are a much quieter day for them so that might be a good day to go for if you only want one day a week?

Everyone at Wee Ones are lovely. My daughter moved up a floor recently and still talks about her 'teachers' in the other room and gives them hugs when she sees them in the playground. Montessori lessons are 1.5 hours a day to start and all morning the final year before Reception. Believe Wee Ones are also quite flexible on the number of days.
