345 nursery Wandsworth

Postby jennywren » Thu Jan 16, 2014 6:10 pm

Hi,

I wondered if anyone can give me their thoughts on 2 to 3 and 345 as a nursery? I'm thinking of sending my toddler there and my child is at Finton House. He's a very relaxed boy, but has a lot of energy!

Thank you!

Both my children are there and they love it. The staff are very nurturing and kind and always have time to talk to you. My daughter who is in her 3rd year there is doing really well with her writing and numbers but they also are extremely good at focusing on good behaviour. My daughter is a real extrovert and they are always thinking fun things for them to do, trips to the theatre, trips to the common plus they have a better outside space than the other nurseries I looked around.

Have heard nothing but good things about this nursery. However, I've just been sent the prospectus for both 2to3 and 345 and am a little confused. Is 2to3 the afternoon nursery only - and is it only for 2 and 3 year olds? And then is 345 full time 9.20-12.20 five days a week? What age is a chick, fledgling etc. Am not sure which to apply for. Our son is only 5 months old now but need to start considering options - if not too late already! Not sure which is best option for us. Will give the nursery a call to clarify tomorrow but any help in the meantime would be greatly appreciated!

My experience has been that 345 creates a really nurturing environment and the children seem really happy there.

I love all the outdoor space and equipment.

Fabulous nursery and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Teachers are so caring and nurturing and children are taught in excellent way whilst having fun. Lovely outside space. All my children have been through it and I couldn't imagine anywhere being better. The morning sessions are broadly split into 2 groups, although they do all play together. The younger children are chicks ie those in their first year of nursery and the older children, who will go to school next academic year, are fledglings. 2-3's are in the afternoons - children who are 2 rising 3.
