We need an honest, energetic and friendly non-smoker after school nanny (to start as soon as possible), with scope for her covering before school too if that is convenient (but we have an alternative solution if it is not convenient). We are happy to consider applicants with their own baby (we've done this before and it was great) or to share the nanny with another family (we've also been in a successful nanny share for 2 years).
We are a friendly, sociable and sporty family, where both parents work full-time, with some flexibility in our hours. We need someone with good verifiable references, a positive outlook and preferably Ofsted registered.
The nanny is needed to do the school run (a short walk from our house, between the Commons) and entertain and look after our daughter (age 5) and our son (age 7).
The nanny will need to speak very good English, love children, be able to prepare healthy home cooked meals, do the children's ironing and organise play dates and trips to the playground, swimming lessons and the library, for about 14-20 hours pw (depending on whether the nanny covers the mornings too).
The minimum hours we need are 1530-1800 or 1830 Monday to Thursday. There is scope for additional work in the mornings (if the nanny covers this would be 0800-0915), and some Fridays before/after school, by prior arrangement, plus occasional babysitting / extra hours during the holidays, if this is convenient for the nanny and/or the family with whom we share.
