Position: Lovely, friendly and happy family based in Chiswick (5 minutes walk to Turnham Green station) are looking for a Mother's Help for 35-40 hours per week to become part of the family and help Mum to look after a wonderful, bright and fun 21 month toddler and 2 month old.
Requirements: Ideally over 25 but must have at least two years full time experience with young children PLUS experience with a newborn. However, Mum will be at home so very little sole charge required.
Must love children and be interested in their development through play and above all be kind, practical, patient and have a positive outlook. You MUST be already living in the UK as we will only accept people who can attend face-to-face interviews at our house.
Must be a non-smoker, no pets and no couples!
Duties with children: Take toddler to playgroups and outdoor activities etc. and help look after newborn. Enjoy cooking healthy meals and be able to follow simple recipes. Assist with bath times, mealtimes and so on. Well organised and understand the need for a routine along with plenty of play and be flexible to fit in with our family life. Be willing to (and enjoy!) travel as we have a holiday home in France and we would expect you to come with us as part of the job.
Light housework/cleaning will be expected but to fit around the children.
Accommodation: a large, newly-refurbished and decorated loft room on a separate floor with its own new walk-in shower room, TV, wifi etc.
References etc.: The position starts end of May (this can be flexible for the right candidate) and we are looking for someone who can commit to 12 months at least. First Aid qualification preferable. Driving licence not necessary. We will reply only if you are invited for interview. As above you MUST have 2 years experience working in the UK and already be living in the UK so we can meet for interview. You will also be expected to provide 2x babysitting per week, sometimes at weekends (this will not be used each week or while the baby is so young) £130 per week, food and board provided.
