WANTED: nanny for our baby girl

Postby yorkshirelou » Tue Jul 28, 2015 1:03 pm

We are a warm, caring, professional, husband and wife team with a hard working, enthusiastic & loving approach to our family life. First daughter is now 6 months and we are looking for a live out nanny. Grandparents, aunts, uncles etc live out of town. Our family home is in Zone 2 of London, between the commons, just off Northcote Road.

Our top priorities are:
- Trust & honesty
- Passion & energy for making learning fun
- Experienced early years/childcare professional

Personal attributes:
Energy, bounce, enthusiasm and zest for life
Loving, caring, positive role model
Excellent communication with our daughter & with us

Requirements:
- Flexibility. As much as we wish we could be home at 6pm on the dot every night, my husband and I can be very busy. We may sometimes work from home or leave later in the mornings, but we are looking for a commitment of 7-7, 3 days per week, plus up to 6 nights of babysitting per month on these days.
- Experience and understanding of the developmental milestones of children to guide and encourage our daughter's spirit, curiosity and natural development (from eating to waving to speaking to walking).
- Care and love. We would like a nanny who is comfortable giving lots of love and cuddles. At the same time, we feel that good manners and structure are really important and we like someone who is confident in using positive discipline to encourage good behaviours.
- Current paediatric first aid certificate
- Excellent English
- Driver's License is not required but you should be comfortable taking our daughter on public transport and getting around on foot to activities such as music class/playgroups/park etc.
- We are looking for someone to start during the autumn term on a committed, long-term basis. (we can be flexible on dates between October and December)

Duties include:
- Everything to do with our daughters care including all aspects playing and learning, story telling, rhyme and singing, attending classes/groups (including swimming)
- Communicating with us about our daughters development, activities and experiences each day
- Laundry, grocery shopping, cooking/freezing/feeding, attending appointments, keeping the nursery/kitchen/play area stocked and tidy
- In addition, we really appreciate someone who will help keep the living spaces clutter free at the end of the day after play. We have a cleaner twice per week to take care of deep cleaning and our laundry.

Hi,
I'm interested in this position if it is still available. I'm currently working as a teaching assistant with children with autism. I have also worked as a nanny both after school and as a full time nanny for a 1 year old. In this position I had nursery duties such as; feeding, nappy changing, and taking to group classes ect. I also have a DBS check and childcare qualifications.

I hope to be taken into consideration.

Hi there,

I'm very interested in the position advertised. I have been a nanny for just over twelve years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I'm a British nanny, and thrive on having an active and rewarding job. My specialist area is caring for young babies up to toddlerhood. In my years as a nanny I have gained experience in all aspects of typical daily schedule for toddlers and babies. I always make sure that I meet the educational and developmental needs of each child in my care by introducing age appropriate activities and toys to them. Overall my priority is to make sure the children I look after get the best possible care so that they feel relaxed, happy, and safe and secure in their environment. I also pride myself on being a completely reliable, punctual and a positive person to be around. I can elaborate hugely if you would like me to send you my cv. I also live and have worked in the Battersea and Wandsworth area for most of my life and years nannying, as such I know all the local activities, playgroups and classes for babies! Please do drop me a message back, and I can send cv and references if you think I may be suitable for the position.

Kind Regards,

Francesca

Good Afternoon!

I am a warm, fun loving British nanny who is looking for work in the London area ( I am also an opera singer therefore London is the perfect place for me!). I am 18 years old and have just left a boarding school in Somerset therefore I am used to new surroundings and people! Your family sounds absolutely perfect for me and I am incredibly interested. I worked in Spain as a live in nanny for a six year old boy in July whilst the parents worked, I also assisted year 3 reading and drama lessons. My weekends and afternoons were often spent looking after my housemistress' granddaughter from when she was born in 2012 until I left the school in July 2015. I love cooking and bakery, arts and crafts, music, drama, being outdoors, going on adventures and trying new things! I have 3-4 people who are willing to provide you with references for me so please do get in touch if you think I may be suitable! I am keen to get down to work therefore I will be available to start as early as next week and I can be flexible with hours when needed. I can't wait to hear from you!

Best wishes,
Poppy Mills
