Description
We are a professional couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our daughter, who is 8 months old. She is a very calm, good natured and gentle baby who is curious and likes to be stimulated. She is very happy and smiley and loves people.
We are looking for a nanny with at least five year’s experience in nannying and with experience of young babies. You must love children and be energetic, mature, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. You will be required to work four days a week, Monday – Thursday from 7.30am – 6.30pm, with occasional evenings/weekends for which you will be paid overtime.
You will be an employee and will be entitled to the usual employee-led benefits such as paid holiday, sickness and pension contributions. We are a non-smoking household and would like a non-smoker. Please note this is a live-out role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Putting her down for her naps.
- Changing nappies and clothing, as well as washing and drying clothes as required.
- Bathing her.
- Playing with her and taking her for daily walks in her buggy.
- Reading to her.
- Encouraging and contributing to her learning and development including organising and taking her to classes and play groups
- Some cleaning and general housekeeping
You must be Ofsted registered and will need a current First Aid certificate, Working With Children police check certificate and a current driver’s licence. We will also require at least four checkable references.
In return, you will be well treated and will receive a good wage and meals as well as holiday related pay, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.
