Hi please see my ad below

Loving live-in nanny needed in Balham

We are looking for a nanny to welcome into our home and look after our two sons five days a week. Our older son is three and a half and is at nursery five mornings a week and our younger son is five months old. Mum is currently on maternity leave, returning to work full time at the end of June.

We are above all looking for someone who is kind, caring and compassionate and who will love our sons and look after them while we are at work.

You will also need to be organised and reliable, active, creative and fun. Our toddler likes to run around, play games, colour, paint, build dens, read books and lots more.

We are looking for someone to have a long-term relationship with our sons and with the family in general. Ideally we would want someone to stay with us until our youngest son (and possibly a future baby) goes to school.

As this person will live with us, we will be looking for someone who we get on very well with, but can also give us space and privacy on evenings and weekends.

You will have at least five years’ experience with babies and toddlers.

Standard hours are 07.30 for a handover until 18.30, but we will need some flexiblility around these hours as well as babysitting two evenings a week.

Responsibilities:

Entertaining – attending activities, playgroups, play dates with children of a similar age, going to the park, playground

Building a loving a trusting relationship with both children

Cooking for both children plus feeding baby and ensuring good and regular naps

Laundry for both children and light housework such as unstacking the dishwasher and occasional errands (we also have a cleaner who comes twice a week to clean and do the parents' washing and ironing)

Please only apply if you:

Have relevant childcare qualifications

Have a UK national insurance number

Are able to provide two verifiable UK references including from your most recent employer

Have fluent spoken and written English

Have a full CRB check

Please send an email with your CV, availability, contact details and salary expectations
