Hattie, this sounds like it is eating you up, I would suggest you look on HMLR and see if she owns the apartment, if so place a charging order on the property with HMLR (off the back of the CCJ) so that you get your money back (after any mortgage is paid off) when she eventually sells it, that way you know you will get it back, one day! Sorry this has happened to you!
