Live-out Nanny Wanted! 3 days a week from Feb 2017 to look after a 1 year old boy

Postby CJ100 » Wed Nov 09, 2016 1:40 pm

We are looking for a warm, loving and experienced nanny to care for our son when I return to work in February 2017. He will be 12 months old.

The role will be 3 days a week for around 10-12 hours a day, as well as additional opportunities for babysitting. We are based in Clapham South.

The role will involve having sole care of our baby and will include:
- taking him to classes (music, sensory, swimming etc);
- arranging and supervising other activities and playdates within and outside of the home;
- planning and preparing varied meals for him; and
- generally caring for his health, safety and wellbeing within the routine in which he is established.

Every day should include some time outside, some time seeing other children and some time reading. Watching television or playing on ipads or mobile phones should be kept to an absolute minimum.

The main focus should be giving time, attention and care to our son but other tasks will include:
- keeping the kitchen, bedroom and play areas clean and tidy, including loading and emptying the dishwasher;
- laundering and keeping in good order the baby's clothes, bedding and equipment eg buggy, toys etc;
- helping when necessary with the family laundry and shopping.

You may from time to time be asked to carry out other reasonable work which is not listed above and not exclusively relating to the children. However the role will not include ironing or cleaning the house, beyond keeping areas in which the baby is playing clean and tidy.

Hello

I'm currently looking for a new nanny position starting from January, but for the right one I could wait till February. I have been in childcare for nearly 11 years. I have a great experience with babies and toddlers, used to work as an au-pair and as a nanny for 1 or more children, I also looked after twin boys for over a year. I consider myself to be a calm, fun and loving nanny who always gives 100%. I am incredibly organized, punctual and reliable with an optimistic and positive personality.
I also have two daughters of my own (8 and 11years) and I believe that this is the best experience I could ever get. They attend full time school and will not impact on any position I take on as I have childcare in place.
I have some brilliant references and I’m Ofsted registered, I have also done paediatric first aid and I have Certificate of Achievement - Health Foundations for Early Years Childcare Practitioners.

Regards

Edyta
