Live in nanny wanted...

Postby KMacey » Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:03 pm

We are a family of three - Dan, Kate and Beatrice. Bea is 3 in April and is a very happy talkative and social girl who enjoys playdates, playing with her toys, educational learning and being outside / trips to the park or to museums and art galleries.
We live on Boundaries Road in Balham near to Balham and Tooting Bec tube stations and 10 a minute walk to Wandsworth Common.
We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to help us look after Bea as we both work full time. We have had the same nanny since Bea was 6 months old and she has been wonderful but she is now moving to the country hence our search.
We would like someone to live with us – you would have your own double room with your own bathroom (which Bea also uses for her bath). We would provide TV, fridge etc and are happy to accommodate other requests. We want you to be comfortable and happy in our house. You are welcome to use our wifi.
We are a very relaxed family, easy to get on with and would really like someone to enjoy living with us and have the best possible time they can with Bea. She currently goes out nearly every day to museums, playdates etc. and we would be keen for her to continue with this and are very happy to pay all related costs.
Bea goes to nursery every morning from 8.45 to 12.15 at Gateway House which is 1 minute walk from our house so during term time we would like her to be collected at 12:15 and then looked after during the afternoon until we get home at 6.30pm to put her to bed. During the morning we would like some housework to be done – cleaning and laundry mostly – which we would expect to be about 5 hours per week. The rest of the mornings are your own and we are flexible on timings.
During school holidays we would need Bea to be looked after from 7.30am to 6.30pm and we realise that only light housework will be possible during this time as priority will be Bea.
In terms of holidays we are open to discuss but the arrangement we had with our previous nanny was 6 weeks holiday of which 2 weeks is paid. 2 weeks to be taken over Christmas and 2 weeks in August – the rest to be discussed and agreed mutually with as much notice as possible.
Pay - we also currently do a nanny share with 2 other families. If you are interested in making additional money and you are happy to look after 2 children some of the time (using our house as a base), then we can continue this arrangement but we are completely flexible on this and any arrangements would be subject to change.
Pay TBD
