Hi Everyone,
We are looking for a live in nanny to start on April 24th or as close to that date. We live in Southfields and have 2 children - a 2 year old boy and 4 month old girl. Initially there will be both sole charge and shared responsibility with me until I return to work full time, at which point it will become a sole charge role (the 2 year old will be attending nursery 2-3 days per week then).
Ideally we are looking for:
- Hours 7-7 Monday to Friday plus 2 nights babysitting
- Fluent in English
- Multi year experience as a nanny
- Experience looking after 2 children sole charge
- Experience with both toddlers and babies (5 months and older)
- Caring, kind, patient, energetic & proactive individual
- DBS & First Aid Certificate essential
- Competitive salary based on experience.
A driver would be preferable although not essential and car would be provided.
Duties will include:
Getting the both children up and dressed, feeding 3 meals a day, plan and cook healthy simple meals for the toddler.
Take both to local playgroups (toddler currently attends 4/5 a week), be creative about playtime outside of these playgroups.
Help maintain the babies routine - sterilise bottles, feed, change nappies etc. Prepare food for weaning and help wean.
Be thoughtful about sensory play and development for baby.
Be prepared to potty train toddler.
Keep both children's rooms tidy & do all their laundry.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, thoughtful, happy, caring, outgoing, sociable, discreet, independent, energetic, educated, fun and loyal.
Must be willing to assist with light housework e.g unloading dishwasher, folding laundry, light vacuuming etc. (NB a cleaner comes twice a week to do a thorough clean)
Must be willing to travel to assist on family holidays (likely to the US & South Africa)
Accommodation is a loft room with en suite bathroom.
