Does your child need help with reading or writing? Or maybe just a boost to improve their confidence?

I am a primary school teacher with over 15 years class teaching experience teaching Key Stage 1.

Until last summer I taught for 11 years teaching Years 1 and 2 at a prep school in Dulwich. I have an in-depth knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and am currently studying for a dyslexia qualification.

Alongside my studying I have also been teaching children between the ages of 3 and 7. I teach all subjects but due to my course I am now focusing my attention on English.

I can help with all aspects of reading, writing and spelling. A few examples of the things I can do:

- letter recognition
- Early sounds, phonics and blending
- simple word recognition
- reading comprehension
- creative writing
- Letter formation and handwriting
- spelling

I am fully trained using the Ruth Miskin- Read, Write Inc. programme and have taught using the Oxford Owl and Dandelion schemes. I also have a wide range of materials to teach these schemes.
