School advice A levels Graveney, Ashcroft, Esher College, Coombe girls

Postby ddclan » Wed Jun 23, 2021 2:48 pm

My daughter is trying to choose between Ashcroft, Graveney, Esher College and Coombe girls for her A levels.
She will be doing Maths and the Sciences.
Does anybody have any advice on these schools and their Sixth Forms?
I am particularly interested in finding out about Coombe girls as no one I know seems to have any experience of this school.
Thanks

Hi - just a thought: have you thought about King’s Maths School in Kennington? It’s a specialist maths school for 16-18 year olds who are really good at maths.

It’s a state school linked to KCL. Like most specialist maths schools (there are only a handful in the U.K.), they are really keen to get talented girls into STEM.

Don’t mean to add any more complexity to your search, just thought I should point it out. Good luck regardless.
