Can anyone recommend a decent affordable carpenter in SW11? I need a quote for pulling up and then replacing some floorboards so we can lower something into our basement.

We are also looking for a carpenter to replace floorboards in rooms in our house. It is not a big job - just some patches in rooms where a very bad replacement was previously done.

I used a brilliant guy called Garvan McGrane, no job was too small and he has always done jobs for us at short notice or those that really cannot be very lucrative. He is quick, quiet, very tidy, takes no brakes and is very reasonable. I was recommended him a few years back and have gone on to recommend him to lots of people. Email address is:
