Carpet shops?

We need new carpets and stair runners for our house. Is there anywhere people would recommend please?

we were recommended marlow's carpets on east hill so we are using them at the moment. Certainly in terms of advice in choosing and making sure I choose within budget they have been really helpful. I'm impressed so far....the carpets haven't been laid yet!

I would recommend gilt edge carpets on the new kings road. Excellent choice and service and certainly when I used cheaper than alternatives in Wandsworth. I was particularly impressed by their fitters. I recommended to my neighbour recently and she said exactly the same.

Just to echo another post - Marlows carpets are really excellent - I had a number of rooms with new carpets put down and was really really happy with everything - great after care service too . I think they are terrific

When we were looking for carpets for our new house, I narrowed it down to 2 shops: Bowloom (on Queenstown Rd) and Sinclair Till (on Wandsworth Rd) as they were the only local stockists that had our preferred stair runner. We went in the end with the former as they had availability to fit when we needed and they were more amenable to a price negotiation as well. I'm sure the latter would've done a fine job too, but I can definitely recommend the guys at Bowloom. Good luck with your search!
