ASSISTANT to CREATIVE DIRECTOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Full time (Monday & Friday remote working,Tuesday to Thursday based in Balham)
10am-5pm
10am-5pm
21 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
Own vehicle required/full driving licence
Work and character references essential
Responsibilities include:
- Attend Design Brief meetings with Creative Director (take notes and pictures)
- Manage Interior Design projects and clients - from initial meeting to completion
- Create Canva boards / mood boards / sample boards
- Order samples (fabrics, wallpapers, tiles, etc.)
- Present designs to clients
- Prepare project budgets (Excel)
- Get sign off on designs and budgets
- Appoint, brief and manage contractors
- Create purchasing lists
- Manage electrical & plumbing requirements for bathrooms
- Maintain Instagram feed
Skills required:
- Good eye for design and a passion for creating beautiful interiors
- Extremely organised with ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects
- Great time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Acute attention to detail
- Good knowledge of brands an advantage but not a necessity
- Ability to work with team but equally independently
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Word, Canva is essential
- Sketchup or hand sketching good but not necessity
- Must have a car and ability to travel to sites independently
