We recently called Jason and Lee at Pestalance after seeing a recommendation on nappy valley net. A good friend had also recommended them.
Even though our problem was rat related which was rather traumatic, the lads were so professional we had to leave another glowing recommendation.
They came twice and were thorough and kind.
They even stayed long over time along with the new builders to try and pinpoint all the problem areas left by the original builders.

We have also just used Pestalance for mice, and can recommend them very highly. They were extremely knowledgable about all rodents (we didn't know what the cause of our problem was at first), found and dealt with the problem very efficiently, and were always extremely punctual to all appointments.

We found them through NappyValley in some desperation after the pest control company sent by our insurers (a well-known national firm) didn't offer an effective solution to our problem. Pestalance instead were able to deal with the problem without us having to take up floorboards, and were able to place bait in locations where it was effective - we saw the evidence on the screen attached to a tiny camera that could be fed into tight locations. A much better solution, and we are so pleased to have used them.
