Is anyone pregnant at 43? are all eggs bad now?

Postby Savannah » Sun Jan 05, 2014 2:05 am

I have just had my fourth miscarriage at 42. Three natural miscarriages and the last one was with help from a doctor who gave a little support with blood thinning drugs and a few other basic drugs, folic acid et al. He is now advising IVF. But i can get pregnant, i just cant sustain the pregnancy. Is all hope lost?

I don't think so no.
Bad luck on the miscarriages. They are heartbreaking, I totally understand.
It sounds now that you need some really good advice though.
Have you considered a consultation with the Zita West clinic? I have heard great things about the services they offer.
Best of luck x

Really sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I would recommend contacting Foresight - www.foresight-preconception.org.uk

Lots of people, who have followed the Foresight programme have found that they've been able to have a baby after miscarriages. You send a hair sample to be tested to see if there are high levels of toxic metals in your system or vitamin and mineral deficiencies, which could be causing problems. They then give you advice about how to eliminate toxins and what supplements to take.

The website has some useful resources, so worth a look. I hope that's helpful!
