Good tip from boojackson - had no idea Primark did thermals.
A friend who is a keen skier recommends Muddy Puddles for kids' thermals. I got tonnes there last year in the sale, as well as ski socks. I borrowed salopettes and snow boots (it's amazing what people have lying around - worth a post in Annabel's Arcade), bought a very good quality ski jacket (a year up, but to be honest, too big) from TK Maxx and a secondhand all-in-one from a Mum on nappyvalley. There is some really good secondhand stuff available (probably because it's barely used, they grow so fast!)
Try to make sure you take a couple of hats, a neckwarmer and def a couple of pairs of gloves because as you know kids will soak those (and lose the hats!) and stuff is so expensive in the resorts. Decathlon is good for basics, too.
