We are moving house soon and I have a lot of things I need to sell on ebay. I don't know where to get started, however, and also just don't have the time (job, 2 children, decorations and a move to organise!). I am looking for someone who is experienced selling on ebay who could sell my things for me from start to finish, from taking the photographs, doing the posts, arranging the sales, postage etc.) I would be happy to discuss terms and offer a % of all sales costs.

I have used www.stuffusell.co.uk for this - not the cheapest option but they were very good.

Hi there, I had the same issue after we sold a newly furnished flat we had rented out only for a year. I used stuffusell and had a terrible experience with them. They say that once they have completed a valuation if they don't think that something is worth at least £30.00 they donate it to their preferred charity (this is an option which I did agree to). I didn't however think their valuation department would think that a nearly new £4,500 sofa workshop sofa in perfect condition (we had double the furniture) was not worth £30. Also a brand new whistles leather jacket (tags on). I found an identical whistles jacket on ebay and the current bit was over £100.00. They were unable to offer any proof that my items had been in fact donated to charity as they don't have to apparently. They also sold a brand new magimix with the cardboard still on the fixtures for £3.00!!!! I was devastated especially considering I had paid their company £400 to come and take the furniture and other items from our property in their van. I am sure they are fine if you are trying to get rid of some things you would otherwise take to charity but if you have anything of any value it really is worth doing it yourself. I can really recommend the Ebay app if you have an iPhone it is actually very quick once you've set up and account and get into the swing of things.

Why don't you make a list and put it on the For Sale section on the site. You don't really need to do photos just a list and people can contact you if interested in anything. I've always had good experience of buy and selling here and it's free.

I have found facebook selling to be quite good for local pick up items - there are loads of local groups
All you need is a quick pic on your phone & a price
