Visa advice

My lovely Canadian au pair's Youth Mobility visa runs out in Jan. She's been told she can't extend it. She's desperate to stay here -- but doesn't want to do so illegally. Anyone got any advice?

She's 21.

Go to www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas to see what the options might be. She can't stay any more than 2 years on her YMS visa, so she'll need to switch into something else. She will probably need to go to home to apply - maybe a trip home to the folks for Xmas to get it all sorted out?
