Which solicitors to use for a new house purchase?

Hello,

Does anyone have any positive experiences of local solicitors that they could recommend for a house purchase?

I have only ever had a relatively poor experience in the past and would love to choose someone who is efficient and not over priced.

Sue Goddard at Sutton-Mattocks is very good. Her email address is sg@suttonmattocks.co.uk / 020 8876 8811

Sutton Mattocks are based in Barnes, she's very efficient and although not over priced she is not the cheapest around, but I think it is worth paying for a good service. good luck!

I used James Nethercot of Clintons solicitors who was excellent. His email address is jnethercot@clintons.co.uk 0207 379 6080. We had tricky sellers to buy from and James was amazing.
