What to do on 24th afternoon?

We have some family coming on 24th and the grand-parents have offered to take the kids out for some activities while we cook, however there doesn't seem to be very much to do as most of the usual museums etc are closed. Any ideas of what to do either locally or in central London?

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
it is not too busy on Christmas eve.
