Every time I go to a musical, I wish I was up there singing! I am now actioning this desire I have had for years to take up singing lessons! Does anyone know of a fun singing teacher who teaches adults in the Wandsworth Common area?? Thanks

Hi there,

I wonder if you've heard of Popchoir? They run weekly rehearsals at Clapham Manor Primary School on Tuesday evenings and sing all sorts of pop music. They also run groups in Dulwich and Croydon. www.popchoir.com

There's a very good teacher who gives individual lessons for adults in Pimlico (SW1, near Battersea), if you would rather have one to one lessons instead of a group or choir.

I used to go to singing classes which were run for new mums with young babies called Thula Mama. Jess does classes at her home in Balham and they were so lovely. She super and she may also do adult singing lessons - she can be contacted at jess.thulamama@googlemail.com

I think I am going to try out the Glee Club on Monday! A little nervous to go to something quite different by myself but will be good to get out and go for it! and hopefully sing sing sing! Thanks for suggesting it
