Moving to SW11

Postby LeanneHewitt » Thu Jan 27, 2011 3:56 pm

We are moving to Broomwood Rd (wandsworth common side), after living in Fulham for the last ten years....We absolutely love the area but do not know much about the nurseries and schools.

My little girl is 2.5 and I am looking for recommendations for a good nursery close to where we will be living.

Very much appreciate any recommendations

Leanne

My daughter is at Noah's Ark on Cobham Close and she loves it. Skips in and out everyday. I find it to be seamless.

I'm sure there are plenty of other excellent schools too but I am delighted that we are at Noah's Ark.

Also hear amazing things about Dolphin School that Noah's Ark feeds into.

Welcome to the area and to NappyValleyNet!

What sort of nursery are you looking for? A day care nursery? An "educational" nursery? Do say and we will see what we can do!

Thanks and welcome again!

Thank you for the comments. Lilyrose goes to Pippa Poppins in fulham and I am looking for a nursery of similar quality. Only part time and afternoons suit best. It would be nice if it could be walking distance from broomwod rd - wands worth common side. Thanks. Leane

Welcome to SW11. I second the recommendation of Noah's Ark. My daughter goes to the Endlesham Road one and we think it is fantastic. They don't do afternoon sessions though but Mousehouse on Mallinson Road does and it is also very highly thought of so it might be worth trying them. I have also heard that the Alphabet Nursery in Chatham Hall (very close to Broomwood Road) is excellent so you could get in touch with them too. Good luck.
