Floreat - why did you choose it?

Postby Earlsfield mummy » Fri May 01, 2015 6:33 pm

I'm interested to hear from parents who chose Floreat this year. I've got to make a decision next year and I can see pros and cons (e.g. new school and facilities v always being the oldest in the school and not having the same atmosphere).

I'm also a little concerned that they are only going to have "mostly" qualified teaching staff. I think I would quite like the people looking after my children to have a qualification but I'm not sure if that is just me being old fashioned. I also see that the Head hasn't got previous experience of being a head elsewhere.

Anyway, I'm just mulling it all over and I'm sure others have wrestled with this decision so I'm curious about their thought process!

Thanks

You may get more response if you ask a friend to add you to the SW18 Mums' group on Facebook. I'm sure Annabel will forgive me for saying that the schools' banter on here tends to be rather between the Commons-centric.
