Can anyone recommend a good chimney sweeper? Someone who is honest, fair priced and can also supply smokeless logs?

We used Aardvark as well and we were very happy with the service as well. On time, tidy, polite, cost as quoted, etc.

Gary from Aardvark swept my wood burning stove and was very clean, punctual and reasonable. He was also able to replace the broken fire bricks and baffle inside the stove.

We used Aardvark sweeps last week. They were clean, quick and very reasonably priced. Gary fixed a problem with the fire bricks too. They are based in SE15

The guy there is called Ed and he is really helpful, punctual and clean and also services Wood Burning Stoves as well as being fully insured and a member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps.

Watch out for people who say they are chimney sweeps but are not qualified, apparently its not a regularised industry, National association of chimney sweeps and Guild of master chimney sweeps are the only organisations i think that are recommended by the government body HETAS.

Just stumbled across this post in 2018 I ended up using chimneysweepsouthlondon.com and would highly recommend to anyone else stumbling upon this post in 2018/ 2019 looking for a chimney sweep in the South of London. Very clean and very professional at a good price 020 3856 3533 .
