Yet another builder request Post Reply

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a builder for side return/loft/general refurb in SW6? I've seen some recommendations on here but none that are recent. I don't necessarily mind if it's a firm that sub-contracts out, provided they have good teams. I have basic plans already drawn up and can project manage some of it myself. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Try RedBox builders -they were highly recommended to me by people that I know who have used them. They are based in SW6 and Rupert from RedBox is also an NVN user (I have seen his posts on this site). Their website is www.redboxlondon.com And their number is 0207-381-1539.

I regularly recommend Bart Cwiakala of Pristine Finish with confidence. I haven't used him myself but have read the ecstatic praise heaped on him and his team on some of the mums groups on Facebook. He'll come round and give you a quote and work well with you.

I had a very positive experience with green sheen construction (unfortunately their website is not great and doesn't show any of their completed projects from the last couple of years). They were recommended to us by friends who had just completed a full house refurb and were happy with the work.

Hi, I would recommend Vas of Pace Construction - they made a real effort to do everything 'properly' and to a high standard, and worked very hard. I haven't got contact details to hand but if you search this site you should find them, if not then pm me.

I can recommend Werner and Werner. We have done 2 big projects with them and the results are really impressive! Very good organised, skilled builders who knows how to do things, what materials are better, which suppliers are cheaper. And they twice have done free quotation. Try them

Following some extensive research we choose HandzOnTools to do a loft conversion for us early this year. We were so impressed with the quality of the workmanship that we then went on to have them refurbish the entire house, including fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms and a completely new fitted kitchen.

Robin and his team are friendly and really expert in what they do and the tradesmen he sub-contracts with (plumbers, electricians) all have the same superbly high standards of professionalism that he has. Nothing has been too much trouble during our extensive renovations and Robin has always been available to talk with throughout.

Robin is also an expert carpenter in his own right and produces wonderfully innovative storage solutions too, some of which we have incorporated into our loft conversion.

We are delighted with our ‘new’ home and would definitely recommend you consider them.

We used APT renovation for our home and can highly recommend the staff were very knowledgeable which really helped as I did not have a clue we had a complete design and build with them and they took us through it every step

We used Qualitas in the past and would not recommend them. We found them expensive and the work product poor in our opinion
