Moving into Storage. Affordable removals company suggestions Post Reply

Hi, I am having some work done in my house in Clapham next month and will need to move the bulk of my stuff into storage somewhere local. To save money I will do the packing/unpacking myself and am happy to source cheap storage also. I have had a couple of quotes from removal companies recommended on here and one with an actual featured ad on the home page. I am sure they are all great companies but to be quite frank, I thought their quotes were a little OTT for the job at hand. I am looking for a competent removal company that does not insist on packing, receiving full inventory or storing everything overnight (another unnecessary expense). I will pack and have everything ready to be moved. All they need to do is come with a truck or vans, load up and go.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If they are not able to help you out on moving all within you without difficulty, then go look for a different organization.
