Postby DIMA » Sun Feb 28, 2016 10:29 am

Can anyone recommend a good carpenter/handyman who would do jobs around the house conscientiously and well with pride at a decent price. Or am I niaive to think such people exist.

Good luck - I was looking for something similar myself recently and have given up

I approached one handyman (who got rave reviews on here.) He turned up on time, did the job and charged a really reasonable fee. Brilliant I thought! I booked him in to do something else and he didn't show up. Left a couple of messages and he never got back to me. I assume he's changed his mind but why not just say so? !
