Not cynical, I don't see other repeated posts like these -
first being "kettlebell king" then being a "pre/post natal expert" of some sort to "protect your bump", then being a "mens fitness trainer" and I have probably missed a few...................
If he is "Londons leading kettlebell trainer" then why does he need to post so many random ridiculous adverts on NVN???..............
It is good to hear a genuine post though. Hope you have got rid of your "bingo wings" and "lost inches off your waist" as he says..... : )

I'm sure I saw a post from Jamie Kettlebell offering free classes in return for people blogging or posting favourable comments on such sites.

and sorry just to add "all the peoples comments.."
don't actually believe the comments were made by genuine people.
as we said Add 'ginger' and 'beebee' to the mix too and it gets worse Their only comments have been about the kettlebells which makes others think the posts were made up by you or your massage lady.

Sorry all a bit dodgy for me................

Seems a bit unfair how some are picking on Jamie for offering his services on this site. Most of his clients are mothers who live in the area which makes his use of this forum quite efficient.

I, for one, saw Jamie's posting here and decided to give it a go; I have been taking his classes now for 2 months and find them challenging and enjoyable. He is professional and very nice. Also, Ginger is indeed one of his clients and has had very good results. Those who snubbed Jamie's offer of a free month don't know what they are missing.

I have no intention of getting into an unpleasant exchange with anyone and as you will see when you check my previous posts I am a genuine poster. I signed up when I moved into the area last year and have found the site quite helpful.

I don't think people are picking on Jamie as one of the poster said they nearly joined themselves and don't have an issue with him advertising every now and again but it seems too often that someone else is saying how great his classes are followed by Jamie saying how he has noticed how many inches they have lost on their waist!
Another poster said, I think it's the fact that he had an advert out for free classes in exchange for 'singing his praises' so the praising Jamie's classes has become a regular feature on here. And it becomes a bit tedious and seems a bit false.
I for one wish him well and may use his classes in the future but I think he could probably do better to either make the people who are marketing for him post less often or less obviously because for those that like to use this site for genuine chatting may get put off by constant 'advertising'. That doesn't mean his classes aren't good it's just a bit annoying.

Oh well you don't know what you are missing!

I may have put a post for free training in exchange for marketing, but none of these genuine posts are on FREE trainng, again they are people who geniunely come to my classes regular and one of them is a personal training client!

I don't wish to create any animosity either nd again am sorry to hurt your feelings.

But again should you wish to join in the popular classes then just give me a call on 07949162554 and would be more than happy to help you.

All the best!

Jamie

I was thinking that the offer of a month's free sessions was a kind and genuine one, but now the 'I'll sing your praises if you sing mine' has also started on streetlife (although I don't doubt that Rosie cleared your garden in 2 hrs and you've helped her drop two dress sizes - you must be good as she's resurrected a 2 month-old post to say so) it's left a bad taste.

Jamie, there are several of us who've said that these tactics are off-putting. There may well be as many more as people who think it's a good idea. Perhaps a bit more subtlety to the way you go about it would be less 'in your face'.

Very funny!!!!!

Where next?????

I just don't get how he thinks people don't see through all this rubbish!!! And as a result would never want to do business with someone like this.... free or not!!!!

So off putting!!! Can't beleive he has started this somewhere else!!!!!!!!

Haven't been on the site for a week so am quite horrified by all these cynical posts - I am one of the earlier posts (beebee) praising Jamie's classes. I don't have a history of posting as I am fairly new to this site.

I am a real person who has genuinely attended a number of Jamie's classes on Wandsworth Common. He is a professional trainer and the classes are very good - I plan to go to some more.

I don't have a business to run or any other hidden agenda, I was merely posting an opinion that the kettlebell classes are good - and having experienced a couple of other exercise classes that are run on the common, Jamie's are more enjoyable than some others!

Hi everyone

I've been attending Jamie's classes in Wimbledon common since the beginning of December, when I was size 14. I'm now a size ten, and very happy.

I have sung his praises here (and on streetlife) because he has done a great job. I also sing his praises to friends when they ask why I have lost weight, in the same way I (and I am sure all of you) talk about it when I have a nice meal/use a good nursery etc - I like spreading the word when something is good.

MrsAmanda Jamie commissioned me to work on his garden, and he liked what I did so he said so - nothing wrong with that, this is what word of mouth is!

I don't get free classes in return for saying nice things, I pay Jamie the going rate for the classes, he paid me the going rate for my gardening, we both did a good job so we got good feedback.

Thats great Rosie.

We are only commenting on the fact that he has now taken over two sites!! Streetlife is literally bombarded with his post/comments on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING so he can have his name and website seen.

Its so OTT!!! Why does "Londons Top Kettlebell Trainer" have so much time to post on these free sites..............sorry just makes me question credibilty and is a bit creepy!!!

As said - just an opinion!!!
